Dominoverse is an independent dominoes game. This page says plainly what the game keeps about you, who handles it, how long it is kept and how you delete it. We do not show ads, we do not sell data, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.
What we keep
Playing against the CPU needs no account. When you play online, open your profile or the leaderboards, or sign in, the game creates an account for you and keeps:
- A player id for your account, and a random device key that keeps this device signed in. The key itself stays on your device.
- Your display name and the face you picked.
- Your game results: online wins and points, your place on the leaderboards, your game history, the players you played with, and your results against the CPU (shown only to you).
- The sign-in you chose: the account id Google, Facebook or Apple gives our game, and the name that service shares with it. Signing in with Google or Apple also shares your email address with our account service; Apple lets you hide your real address and share a private one instead. With Facebook we ask only for your public profile. We never see your password for those services.
- Your email address, only if you sign in with email and a password. The password is stored by our account service in a form nobody can read back.
- The cosmetics you own, once the game offers them.
To keep online results honest, every phone at an online table sends our server a record of each hand, and the server replays it. Records that agree are deleted within 7 days. Records that disagree are kept for 90 days to look into cheating, with account ids in hashed form.
When a new guest account is made, our server keeps a one-way hash of your network address and the times of that day’s requests, so one network cannot create thousands of accounts.
Voice chat at a table goes live to the other players at that table. It is not recorded or stored.
We do not collect your location, contacts, photos or advertising id.
Who handles it
- Microsoft (PlayFab and Azure) stores the accounts, results and leaderboards and runs our server checks, in the United States.
- Photon (Exit Games) connects the players at a live online table and carries voice chat while you play.
- Google, Facebook or Apple, only when you choose to sign in with them. Their own privacy policies cover what they keep.
This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics. Its pages load fonts from Google Fonts, so Google sees your network address when you open them.
How long we keep it
Your account and everything on it are kept until you delete the account. Online-game check records are kept for at most 90 days, as described above.
If you play as a guest and delete the app (or clear the browser), the only key to that guest account is gone, so nobody can use it again. To remove its data from our servers as well, delete the account in the game first.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account and everything on it from inside the game, or by email if you no longer have the game. See how to delete your account.
Children
Dominoverse is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly keep data about them. If you believe a child under 13 has an account, email us and we will delete it.
